  1. I suggest EZ-Gest.  It's a multienzyme formulation that alleviates discomfort such a gas and bloating, helps digest "problem foods" including dairy and gas-producting vegetables, and supports complete digestion of the fat, protein, and carbohydrates in all foods.

  2. TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR!

"Trouble digesting food" is a VERY vague description.

I am taking a new medication for diabetes called SYMLIN.

Symlin is a stomach retardant that makes the food stay in the stomach longer. If the problem is food going through the stomach too fast, this may be of assistance.

If your problem is in the intestines, initial digestive processes that occur in the mouth, diabetes, intolerance, Celiac Disease or some other problem; Symlin probably won't do any good.

If you don't know what the problem is...

  3. go to a health food store or vitamin shop and get some papaya enzyme. It's  good as a digestive aid, and should help with flatulence and bad breath as well.

  4. Try rubbing your belly clockwise after your food has began digesting. Abdomen massage really improves digestion and then you don't have to put any foreign pills into your body.

You could even go to a professional massage therapist and ask for some real abdomen massage so that you can learn how to do it to yourself.
