okay.

so preseaon for cheering starts in two weeks.

ive got good motions, my dance skills need a littttttle bit of improvement, but i can improve that easily.

the only thing i need ALOT of improvement on is my jumps.

ive been out of cheering for two years (worst mistake of my life)

so my jumps are preetttty rusty.

im doing my best to improve them.. ive been doing flexibility and strengthening exercises and such.

anyways, the cheering team at my highschool likes everyone who wants to be on the team to attend preason, especially since they teach them the cheers and things in preparation for the first game.

im not sure i can perfect my jumps enough in two weeks to join preseaon.

i plan on joining a cheering gym next week to help me with tumbling and possibly my jumps and to continue in there for a longgg time.

SOOO, MY QUESTION IS :

should i continue trying to improve my jumps, go to the tumbling gym, and notttt do fall season, and wait until winter competition season, when i know i will be a great cheer leader by then? or should i join preseason with sucky jumps?

i personally think i should just wait til winter season.. but i need advice on what other people would do..

would you join the cheering team if you didnt feel that you were top quality for the team, when you knew you had a lot of improvements to make?

thank you in advance.

  1. do what you like the the most and keep practicing that

  2. ummm, im a guy sooo.....wear somthing hot. =D

  3. Why wait out another season? Your jumps are even gonna get worse. Waiting was the reason why you are having this problem now. Continue what you are doing and don't miss out on another season of cheerleading. Keep the faith. I know you'll do well.
