Presenting?

sup people.

I was looking for help. recently Iv been asking about Radio Presenter demo's for radio stations (thanks to people who answered me :) ) But I was wondering what to include in the script because I don't want to be making it up because i'll get mixed up or get something wrong.

Believe it or not, writing is a big part of a presenter's job, especially a news presenter. So, take a newspaper and re-write some of the articles. Write your script to fit your style of speaking.

If you want to include something other than news, you could edit a feature article down to 1-2 minutes and use that instead. If it's music, prepare a very brief intro to a few songs. Just mimic what you hear on the radio every day.

the best people in radio have no or very little script, it is a gift to be able to talk and turn your hand to anything, the main deal is no spaces with nothing to hear for the listener,

Are you after a talk show? spin a few records off or even a bit of both, maybe some thing else, just what are you looking to do with your air time?

Let them know you are able to come up with your own original ideas. Invent a competion or amke unbias comments on a current top news article. This will always impress. Remember to show your DJing skills A talk over an intro of music + 5secs is all that is required plus a 5 second outro
