  1. He started losing his teeth in his 20s.

Laser scans find the dentures are made from gold, ivory, lead, human and animal teeth  (horse and donkey teeth were common components).

  2. They were made out of wood.

  3. Hippo and elephant ivory and horse and donkey teeth.

  4. piano keys basically, ivory and wood they weren't just wood.

  5. Most likely ivory, taken from an African elephant. Not wood - that's an old wives tale.

  6. I know he had one set made of Hippo bone and teeth.

I'm pretty sure he never had wooden teeth, as some stories tell it.
