In that talk he said or something along similar lines. Americans will walk on the moon by 1970, Mars 1980 and Alpha Centuri in the year 2000. How come this was never fully realsied. I know that the logistcis are quite indepth and detailed but isn't it amazing how quickly it took them to land on the moon. What a difference a charismatic leader can make to rally the country to a dream.

what vision. He blundered in Vietnam, had Maryln Manroe affair. To counter Russian Sputnick, he hurridely said that man landed on moon (which itself is a hoax of the century)
