  1. I was 13 years old when Kennedy was shot, it was a very sad day for everyone.  At that time my family was die hard democrats.  Kennedy started the police action in Vietnam that took us about 15 years to get out of and brought shame on the US, when Nixon, a republican, pulled us out of there.  All of the people that had supported the US in Vietman were sacrificed to the Kymer Rouge. He did emplement civil rights amendments and Johnson carried them out. The real worker of his administration was his brother Bobby who took on the mafia, don't hear about them anymore, but we have 10 times more organized crime now, they are called gangs.  Sincere?  not really, it was his father that had the drive to be president, he had been an ambassador, but he also had a shady background.  He wanted his first son, Joe Jr, to be pres, he was killed in action in WW2 so John was the second son and dad pushed him into politics, when John died then it was Bobby, look what happened to those two, Ted was saving his own butt(as usual) when he decided not to go into that line of employment.
