This colossal gaffe, in a series of Obama gaffes, may have just about handed a November win to John McCain. Obama's judgment will AGAIN be the focus on just why he would pick his toughest and most intellectually honest Democratic critic during the primaries?? Biden already hit Obama hard on just about every Republican talking point! Barring a bigger McCain gaffe as his VP (still possible with Mac), did Obama hand this election to McCain??? Did Obama once again prove that he's not yet ready fror prime-time??

  1. I think Biden was an excellent pick for the Obama campaign .

Now , when McCain picks his veep ... we can get on with the games .

No one has this contest sown up .

  2. we are used to it.  we just had nearly eight years of it.........

that is why most of us want a change.

  3. CORRECT

  4. Republicans usually beat their chests when they get to sweatin'.

Its something that the picked up from Rush.

  5. I don't really understand his decision I like Biden and I know he stood neutral during the primaries but I believe he was behind Hillary. McCain and Biden are good friends does he want him to see if he will give info on McCain? Biden is a great debater and has knowlege in foriegn Affairs so is McCain Obama's weak spot in both areas. I don't get it yet is Biden going to make all the decision making in order for Obama to get credit and look good? Obama is not ready for prime time and everyone has gotten it Biden must be his life perserver cause he is going down quickly!

  6. Your mouth to God's ears...I hope Obama loses and loses badly...to shut the liberal left wingers up...I am tired of them making this lightweight empty suit a Messiah, the Annointed One....the Savior..He is none of these..he is controlled on everything he says and does...He is a Manchurian Candidate (see movie of 1962) with Lawrence Harvey and Frank Sinatra)  excellent movie and frightening.  Obama will destroy this nation and most of our freedoms will be taken away from us slowly...Obama will be a figurehead.  He will never make a decision without calculating first with all his think tank heads he surrounds himself with...The man is so dangerous that I shudder to think of him as our President...Scarey scenario....Remember he cannot answer a question without Ahhhhhhhh, Uhhhhhhhhhhhh, er.............er..........Mmmmmmmmmmmmm... guy is stupid, but great reading a speech off a teleprompter...He has no core values and only became a Christian because of political ambitions, because he was a Muslim...and they are keeping it a secret.  Al Queda will love him to be President as they infiltrated the White House without firing a shot....

  7. President John McCain... just don't let him near  any shinny red buttons

  8. God YES!!

  9. No If McCain gets elected people will  be saying either cease fire or cease America. McCain does not even know who the enemies are or which countries exist, let alone which house is his

  10. The VP pick doesn't normally make any difference in who actually gets elected.  I would have been more creative if I were Obama, but the choice isn't outrageous.

  11. Keep.

    Dreaming.

  12. I wanted Hillary...

But I am the kind of guy that Obama knows will have to vote for him anyway...

  13. Honestly.  Senator Obama has a great rhetorical ability.  His problem is his lack of staying at a career position long enough to establish a history of successful accomplishments!

Sen Obama must earn his achievements, accomplishments, and time on the job, BEFORE leading anyone!!!

Biden, as in McCain have shaped and lead their respective political communities in the US Senate for over 20 years.  McCain is at the Top of the Ticket where the experience in absolutely necessary and EARNED.  Biden is on the wrong place of the ticket.

I honestly believe in this election cycle EXPERIENCE trumps TALK.

  14. Notice that rather then address the question, Obama supporters choose to ignore it and say that Obama will win just cause.

    Monkey see, monkey do

And this VP pick will hurt Obama, and when combined with his recent failings may indeed cost him the election

"Not going to happen, You guys don`t understand, this election is not about who is the father figure that knows best it is about who is going to listen to the American people, it is time for a representative not a all knowing commander in chief attitude like we see from the Republican party today."- Well then Papa Obama seems to be the natural choice

  15. Okay.

Another major Obama mistake was not picking Hillary.  The Republicans would have had no chance with her as a running mate.  I think that Obama's statement at the Saddleback "I'll look for guidance from Michelle and my Grandma", came into play in ditching Hillary.

  16. I do not see Obama pulling off a miracle comeback.

  17. I can't imagine it any other way.  McCain it shall be!

  18. Yes, he is not ready for prime time, or any other time or place.  The mess he made of himself at Warren's debate should seal the deal!  Biden is just frosting on the cake at Obama's farewell and goodby party.

  19. I'm ready for it, bring it on.

All the McCain campaign has to do from now on is keep using commercials showing Biden criticizing Obama. Biden's anti-Obama comments were the hardest hitting of the primaries.

    LET EM ROLL

  20. The effects are temporary simply because if McCain chooses Romney - which is very possible and likely - there is way more media footage of Romney bashing McCain's credentials and abilities. I don't think anything is set in stone just yet, we should probably wait to see how McCain's VP choice reflects on his campaign.

  21. Not going to happen, You guys don`t understand, this election is not about who is the father figure that knows best it is about who is going to listen to the American people, it is time for a representative not a all knowing commander in chief attitude like we see from the Republican party today.

  22. President McCain of which mental health associations?
