With his tenure officially over, Pakistan Cricket Board's chairman, awaits  the President, Asif Ali Zardari's decision regarding his fate.
Butt, who left for ICC’s executive board meeting being held in Dubai, took charge as the Chairman back in October 2008 and this Saturday marked the end of his reign; however with the President, who also happens to be the Chief Patron of the board, is still
undecided whether his tenure will be extended or not.

"There is no indication what is going to happen, we are ourselves anxiously waiting for a notification from the Presidency," one official said.
