Pressure and temperature go too high

Question

My machine pressure overshoots to 2.5 bar or more. I took off the lid and unplugged and re-plugged all the push on connectors (cleaning contacts) this may have fixed the problem or it may have been a coincidence that the problem went away, but now it is back.Anybody else have this problem and found a solution?
