Pressure still on Kombouare despite Ancelotti refusal – Ligue 1 news
For a long time, former AC Milan manager, Carlo Ancelotti has been linked with the coaching position at Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain. The 52-year-old was also reported to be in Paris in order to discuss terms of a contract with the owners and the sporting
director of PSG.
However, it has been made official that the Italian tactician has refused an offer to coach the cash-laden side. The Italian was once considered favourite to replace current coach Antoine Kombouare at the Camp des Loges.

RMC has now announced that the Italian tactician did have a meeting with Leonardo and Nasser Al-Khelaifi but declined PSG’s proposal, preferring to wait and see if an attractive proposal is received within the English Premier League.

style of play has not been exciting.
Earlier it was rumoured that PSG’s upcoming Ligue 1 game against Nancy Lorraine would be the last game but the situation is no more risky as it seemed a few days ago.
Reports further suggest that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Qatar-c2986 Investment Authority who own 70% of the club’s ownership are now looking at the profiles of other high profile managers.
Le Journal http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Du-c11689 Dimanche reports that current coach of the Turkish national side Guus Hiddink and free agent Rafael Benitez are under the radar of the Ligue 1 giants.
Turkey’s chances of making it to next year’s Euro 2012 in Poland-Ukraine are getting slim after the side lost 3-0 at home against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Croatia-c2879 in the first leg of the Euro 2012 playoffs. Reports further suggest that the Dutch manager would step away from his
duties if the team fails to turn around a three-goal deficit.
Antoine Kombouare’s future is still hanging by a thread and there are no guarantees whether the experienced coach will stay at Parc des Princes or not as Leonardo is apparently not pleased by the dull displays he has witnessed in recent weeks.
