Pressuring the father?

Question

I am 21 weeks pregnant. I am not with the father.. we have known each other a year and dated briefly, so we dont know each other that well.

IThe last time i talked to him was through text messaging a week ago and before that i talked to him a few weeks before.

I feel like i want to talk about things is it pressuring him if i contact him again to talk about things?

He's scared hun...Or he just doesnt want to be involved... You have every right trying to figure what the h**l is going on after all he is the babys' father...

he needs to start telling you what is going through his head... Pregnancy is hard when doing it on your own, it's even harder when you're stressing about him and not knowing where you stand..

Concentrate on the pregnancy that baby is more important... He'll figure out what he's missing out on...

You're not pressuring him sweetie. You're asking him to step up and be a man.  I went through the same thing with my son's father.  Unfortunately, he decided that he didn't want any part of his life.  The one thing I learned was that you can't make anyone do anything they are unwilling or unable to do.  Do what you can to keep the line of communication open, but don't allow yourself to get too stressed out about it.  Right now, you should focus on the health of you and that baby that is on the way.  Just know that whatever emotions you're feeling (anger, stress, etc) on some level the baby is feeling it too. I Don't Think Your Pressuring Him All Your Basically Wanting Him To Do Is Grow Up And Be An Adult And Deal With The Situation The Baby Is Going To Come So He Is Going To Have To Deal With The Situation Sooner Or Later. As Far As Him Not Being Excited About The Baby - He Should Have That Before He Had s*x.
