Yeah even the most die hard hockey fans have heard about these promising offensive phenoms, 2 of which are already starting a great career in the NHL, the other is just starting to create buzz as the next best thing outside the NHL(Tavares).

Well you people might as well get used to hearing this other kids name I tell yeah, his name is Taylor Hall, he plays for the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL, he entered this season as a 15 year old, already is one of the fastest skaters in all of Canadian Major Juniors, he's 6ft, 1in, 170 lbs, Scouts have called him the next "Bure" or the "Canadian Pavel Bure",As evidenced from his mind blowing speed at such a young age.

Let me break it down for you:

He's a 16 yrold, entered the league at age 15, has been deemed one of the fastest skaters in th entire CHL, not just OHL.

rookie season: 63gp 45 goals, 40 assists 85 pts

John Tavares rookie season:

65gp 45 goals, 32 assists 77 pts

Tavares was 15 in his rookie season

  1. Yep they are pretty good.  Great question.

  2. Yup, it's a real good time for the Leafs to REALLY suck for a couple years. I'm talking pre-strike Penquins suck here, not the 07/08 Tampa/L.A. Kings version. The kinda suck where they give you 2 first picks, not just one.

  3. Holy c**p, that's young.

  4. What not - he's the best!

  5. Yea Ritchie, he is the next NHL Phenom, looking to make his mark, and make it he will!  shows you how much people around here really know hockey etc.

  6. Halfway through I got tired of reading.  Was there a question in there somewhere?

  7. sidney crosby is sexyyyyyy!!!!

  8. ok, and the question is?

  9. OOooooo, this is fun!  Can i play too?

Watch out for Steven Anthony next year!  He's 17 and is already 6'2, 195 lbs!!  Talk about having size and possibly more!  Throw in playmaking skills to go with hockey vision and he's gonna give Tavares a run for his money!  A future can't miss power forward prospect.
