Prevent my picture from falling off the wall? It is an area that shakes a lot. I want to keep it there.

I have a light weight picture that keeps falling off the wall. It is hung by a tack, because it is a light weight picture. I would like to keep hanging it with a tack because it is convenient. Now its close to the door. So the constant opening and closing of the door might shake the area enough to make it fall off. Any suggestions? If I have to change from tacks to something else that will hold it, that is OK. But I want to keep the picture on the wall, by the door. Even though the wall shakes the picture a lot right there.

You have to use more than a tack so when the door opens or closes the vibrations don't nock the picture off.   Just a simple nail with a hook that you can find anywhere should work.   These hold up even in drywall up 20 lbs of weight and they are cheap.  If after using this the picture still falls off then leave the hook there to hang the picture on and put a small piece of two sided tape on the bottom part of the picture to stick onto the wall.   Good luck.
