Can anyone tell me what was so special about The Lambs two victories in the grand national years 1868 and 1871 would be grateful for any info thank you

  1. Could be it was the first grey horse to win (or win twice?)


  2. He was the first grey horse to win the National twice.

    Nicolaus Silver was the only other grey to win the National in 1961.
