Question:

Previous knowledge dreams?

I don't know if I can explain this right, but I'll try: I have a lot of dreams in which I'm doing something based on instructions, skills, or thoughts that had already been established and that (in the dream) I'm "remembering" as I'm going through what I'm doing in the dream. The thing is that the knowledge I'm recalling in the dream never actually happened, but somehow, as I'm having this dream, I'm also dreaming up a memory to back it up. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Anyone know the reasons that happens?

  1. I think the mind is really good at making up its own justifications, even in real life.  There are a lot of theories for how dreams come about, but I think that pretty much it's just another detain in your dream - the memory is about as profound as the appearance of your best friend, a golden apple, or anything else.  It's another object that helps the dream make at least some sense.  It seems like that's kind of an important detail or maybe something insightful as to how you are thinking or what is going on in your daily life, or what you're concerned with, etc.
