Preziosi warns Kucka to improve his game or risk getting offloaded in January: Serie A news
Genoa President, Enrico Preziosi, has warned midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Juraj-Kucka-c20099, to improve his performances or risk facing the chop.
The Patron has blasted the midfielder for playing poorly in the club’s opening fixture of the 2011/12 season. Genoa went onto draw 2-2 against newcomers, Atalanta, at their own backyard over the weekend.
Preziosi earlier slammed the new manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan on the deadline day of the summer transfer window in a deal involving
Nerazzurri shot-stopper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Emiliano-Viviano-c12483, going the other way. However, it was decided that the midfielder will remain at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris until at least January next year.
Preziosi is disappointed with Kucka’s performance in the game and believes that the central midfield department was nowhere to be seen. The Chief has insisted that he will decide on the player’s future and if he feels that he is
not playing up to his standards then he will show him the exit door.
Preziosi said, “I expect much more from both. In the middle of the field in the first half, we were like water. I know this is not the real Kucka. He has a particular physique and needs time to get into shape. Kucka's fate depends
on my will. I decide if he goes or stays. We'll see what happens, there are different solutions. If he is playing well however, he does not move in January.”
The Club President revealed that he has told the player that if he wants to remain at the club he will have to up his performances otherwise he will be allowed to leave for Inter Milan in January.
“I told the player that if he plays like he did [on Sunday], that Inter will only have him for their photo album. Maybe this whole affair means little, but I want to see the real Kucka.”
Genoa will travel to Rome to take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 in their next game and Preziosi is expecting a much improved performance from his team.
