I'm considering buying a 2007 Kawasaki ZZR600. It has 2800 miles on it and is in great condition. Also, It's completely stock. Is $4650 a good price for this bike?

  1. You can't go wrong with that bike at that price. so long as the original owner changed the oil a couple times during break-in. A 2001 ZX6R, which is the same bike, can sell for 4k in great shape.

Check the NADA price, here. Average retail is over 5800, and 2800 miles is very low!

^^ I think 4k is wishful thinking for a one year old sport bike in great condition. If maddojo can get that kind of deal regularly, he could start his own business. Here's an '06 with 6.7k miles that sold for 5300, recently:http://www.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?L...

  2. For a completely stock bike,  $4650 might be a bit high.  You should expect to pay about $4000.

    Good luck and happy riding!

PS - You might check out ebay for current auctions to get a decent indication on prices, too.
