Price check on a new model 70 (clearance US Repeating Arms)?

I found a couple rifles which I believe to be black shadows. It's just your run of the mill blued/black rifle.

They had it in a 223wssm but they are trying to find one in a standard caliber for me.

Is this a steal, about right, etc...???

$400-$450 seems to be a pretty average going price for the synthetic stocked ones. The wooden ones go for about $100 more.
