Price fixing at the pumps?

How many of you are infuriated? The gas in the tank underground - all of a sudden - is worth more to the oil companies overnight. Where is the rhyme or reason for doing this? Oh, I am so fumed - I could explode - (pun intended).

It takes about 30 days for the higher oil price to hit the tank after refining. If this is not clearly price fixing and goughing the consumer, what is?

There is a conspiracy. Government is spineless. They are sleeping at the controls.

  1. well yes it suck but you have to think of it like this.... they buy the gast for a price and then they sell it right now if that price goes up then they have to raise the price so they can buy more next time....and most of this problems we are having now are cause by our goverment

conspiracy maybe... Government is spineless but rich They are sleeping at the controls and always have been

  2. It's probably worth pointing out that Exxon-Mobil is selling off all of their corporate-owned serice stations to private owners.  The reason for this, wait for it...they are not profitable.  Many service stations have been privately owned for years.

Gas stations actually make more money on selling twinkies and sodas than they do on gasoline.  Don't blame the gas station owners, they're just trying to make an honest living like you and me.
