EDIT - Sorry if I sounded 'touchy', what I was getting at was if you didn't know the price do you know anything about the car itself? What trims are available etc because as the poster below me has mentioned the price will change depending on the trim you choose. I do agree they are very sleek cars.

I agree that they are available with a variety of engines and options, so the price can vary wildly(!) but the main thing that was said about them in reviews is:

A) Look at it!  Don't you just want to l**k it all over?

B) While it isn't bargain-basement, it is fantastic VALUE, very affordable for what it is, a superbly-built, reliable and gorgeous super-car.

Isn't there something of a waiting list already?  I can understand that!

Well there is two trims to the Audi R8. The 2008 model year has two trims with the same horsepower and engine. The only difference is that one of them has an automatic transsmission. The normal one is 109,000 with a 4.2L 420 horsepower engine that gives 13/20 city/highway milage. The other trim is 118,000 dollars with the same engine and milage but with a automatic transsmission.
