Price of a pint of beer where you are?

Hi, I live in south wales and the beer i drink is john smiths and its £1.70 a pint, what price is it in your local

In Japan it's about 1000yen in British pubs.

It looks like that's close to 4.65 in pounds.

£2.10 for bitter, anywhere from £2.50 to £3.20 for larger, depending what it is and where you are, but a lot of pubs to deals and happy hours where I am, which is Kendal, Lake District.

I live in London and its about £2.70 for a pint of larger, though if you go to the real tourist spots it'll be £3 and up

wetherspoons sells at £1.55 its cheaper for our pubs here to get wetherspoons to supply them rather than the brewerys.

I live in Surrey (kingston-upon-Thames) and it completely depends where you go to drink!

Wetherspoons normally have the cheapest drinks and you can get a pint for about 1.80.

Any poncy bar around here thinks nothing of charging you 3.40 a pint..and in clubs it can be as much as 4.50!

Ludicrous, I know. Thats why Ive taken to drinking cans of special brew in the park, with my trousers held up with a length of orange tow-rope.

Some people say Ive lost my class, I say I'm being economically diligent.

Oh, and by the way, you couldn't spare twenty pee for a cup of tea could you?

In Vancouver, BC, Canada they range from about $5 to $6-ish depending... usually just over $5 though (CDN which is about par with USD right now)

I live in Sweden and the beer at ex. clubs are kinda' expensive...maybe 4-5 euros and local bar 3-5 euros (bottle). Tap, a little cheaper.

Pretty similar here in Oklahoma, USA.  ÃƒÂ‚£1.70 is about $3.40 US, and it runs about $3-4 for most here.  Domestics run on the cheap end, imported on the high end.  If I go down to the sushi bar, it's $6 for Asahi, but it's 22oz instead of a pint.  Sam Adams usually runs me about $3.50, or £1.75

Don't really know how much it costs here as my partner goes to the bar, but I think it is a very good price that you are paying.  It was about that price in the members club we used to go in before the last budget and brewery increase.
