Price of a taxi from the train station to the airport?

how much is a taxi from a Cologne train station to the airport ?

Why don't you just take the S-Bahn (overground local train)? It takes around 14 minutes from the main train station to Cologne airport and one journey only costs you 2,30 Euros. During daytime, trains from the station to the airport leave about every five minutes. Cheaper and not bound to be stuck in traffic like a taxi! However, if you choose to take a taxi anyway, I would presume you would have to pay about 25 Euros (maybe more, I'm not sure).

EDIT: Well, I read on a website that the journey by car takes around 30 minutes, so maybe that gives you a clearer idea on what the price could be....

It can vary depending on the distance of you travel from your locale to the airport. I am sure the fee is the same being from the train to the airport but they meter them so it is too hard to say what it would cost you.  It cost me about 20 Euro to take a Taxi from the train station to my friends which was about 2 km away but a lot of traffic and stops.

Have you considered a bus shuttle or do you have to many things?
