  1. Lloret last year - 3euros a pint, Malgrat is a small family place near Lloret, Blanes, Fannals and train line to Barcelona. Beach Shingle.

  2. We were just there about 7 months ago.  We stayed in Barcelona, and paid about 5 Euros for a beer that was about the size of maybe a pint or 1/2 liter?  Can't be sure, exactly.  A soda was the same.  That would be on Las Ramblas.  When we sat down the first few times, we thought the lunch/tapa prices weren't a bit bad, considering a terrace table on the Ramblas, but then, they really got us with the drinks, and you can't drink tap water in the area, as it tastes AWFUL!  But in any other place, a drink of any ordinary sort ran about 2 Euros or so.  Not nearly as bad.  I suppose that's what you can expect in Malgrat.  I think a cubata (shot of liquor in a glass of soda) was maybe closer to 3Euros, and a soft drink is generally served in a 25 ml bottle with a glass (of ice if you specify).

I usually find that  the best thing to do, in order to keep hydrated is to buy a bottle of water, and if you have a place to do so, freeze it overnight, and carry it with you, drinking it as it melts.  (I do this everywhere I travel) and if you CAN drink the tap water, just refill it as you go.  Pick up the water anywhere, but, of course, a grocery store will be cheapest.

  3. all depend where you take your beer, can be from $2,50 to $15 even more if you take it in the disco, here in malaga costa del sol a pint start at $1,50 (english pub´s) but goes to $10 near the beach so depend one you.

  4. Sadly since the euro spains cheap as chips days have gone!!

I went in 95 and couldnt spend my money as it was so cheap and drink was amazingly cheap!then since going back since the euro it is line with us really, but locally produced beers and drinks will be cheaper and local wine can be picked up for around£2 a bottle.

  5. expect to pay around 3 to 5 euros pint and 1 euro a can of pop/water bottle
