  1. Fill up there!  Today, the average price in Ontario is $1.31 per liter which works out to about $4.96 per gallon.

The price for tomorrow is supposed to be $1.34 - $5.07 per gallon.

  2. In Ottawa city it's a bit more expensive than the valley.  Fill up in the valley if you can (It's typically only a few cents different.  High today in the city was about $1.38,  Lowest in the valley was $1.24).

You can check out: http://www.ottawagasprices.com/  to find the cheapest places to fill up.

Small towns seem to be a little cheaper as well (I come up hwy 7 from central ontario, and usually places like Kaladar and Havelock are cheaper)  I assume you're crossing in Cornwall though, so usually places on the hwy before you actually hit Ottawa.

  3. Do you think 1 tank of gas is going to get you from Buffalo to Ottawa,382 kilometers or 237 miles, driving around then back? You may have to fill up there on your way here and here on your way back.
