Price of having a rabbit neutered???

Any idea how much this would cost in the South West of England??

Hi,i was interested to know to a while back,its £30-£40 for a male bunny & around £60-£70 for a female, For a female it generally called"spade" for a male its generally called "castrated" Though i generally say neutered,which is for either/both s*x.  I live on the Isle Of Wight,by the way.

Probably a male as you said "neutered" instead of "spayed". Some people use the term neutered for both though.

I think it's about £30-£40 for a male. That's what it was for us, but I don't know what it is for any other vets.

Then about £60-£70 for females

Hmm. In America it's probably about $20-60 so I'm not sure about England...

£50 - £60 I was researching it as we were going to get ours done so we could get a female.

I wanted to get my chinchilla spayed (we were going to house her with a male and didn't want babies) so I called the local vet for a price quote. I think you should too. With a male it probably wont be too expensive b/c they're easier. Plus his smaller size means less anethsetic. Should't be too bad in price.

its a big price

im just thankful i have 4 cages for all my 8 rabbits [[5 are females mum an daughters in the same cage thats 7ft long ones on her own and i either have 1 buck or 2 i dont know what one rabbit is]]

the price is usually £30-£60 depending on where abouts you go ...

an thats why im thankful mine are separate it would be like ... lots lol

i'm in UK i asked my vet about my rabbit, and i'm pretty sure he said £50 for the neutering and sedation, painkillers etc.
