Price of party venues / halls?

Question

I'm having an 18th birthday party in a few months and I want to throw it in a nice hall or hotel or other venue with a dance floor. About 50 people. How much would it cost to rent a place for my party in the Bay Area (in California) ? And any suggestions for venues in San Jose?
