Price of second hand gold balls in Britain?

If I went to the local golf course and collected abandoned balls, how much could I sell them on for?

You'd better check with the course owners. They all have strict rules concerning the collection of abandoned balls. You must have a contract with the club.

Depends where you sell them, at a car boot sale maybe 20p each, at a pro shop maybe £1...

I'd imagine it would depend greatly on the type of balls collected, but you'd probably be looking at 25% or so of the cost for new ones of the same type.
