We have to go to Florida to catch a cruise from Port Canaveral. we have to get tickets to florida and the closest airport to port canaveral is Melbourne Int'l Airport, and its not that far away from the hotel we will be staying in for one night. will the timings be better if i bid higher for the tickets through Priceline? if i bid $50 for the ticket it comes up $85.95 including taxes, how much should i bid so the timings are a little better? and did anybody get tickets through Priceline? how were the timings? thanks. 1. doesn't matter what uor bid is, you can't choose your time and you aren't guarenteed better timing if you bid more.  Once your bid is accepted there is no changing it.  This feature is really for someone who doesn't care what time anything is.  If you do I would remove your bid and just go buy them.  there are always sales going on so check with a travel agent, they can usually get you the best deals.

    Good luck

  2. For airlines, I would not book through priceline.  They could run you through three different airport before you get to your destination and then you could miss your cruise.  Using them for hotels is better.
