Priceline hotel reservation - paying with cash

When I reserve a hotel from priceline, I would like to pay with cash, not the credit card. Is this possible? In other word, are they charging at the time of reservation?...... Also, if they have to charge on my credit card, details of the hotel stay may printed on the credit card statement?

nope, not possible to pay cash. it will show up as a priceline.com purchase but i don't know how specific it will get, why trying to hide something?

you can reserve a room with a credit card but then pay cash when you get there if you book directly with the hotel.

Sounds like you're planning on cheating on your spouse.  That's really bad news, and you would be found out eventually.

No, it's not possible to pay cash through priceline.  Priceline needs a record that you paid through them in case there is a problem.

Details of a hotel stay are usually not printed on the credit card statement, but it will show as being charged to priceline and possibly to the hotel chain...and most people would be able to figure it out by looking where the money went.
