Priceline satisfaction?

I am planning to book a vacation package to california next month. Although it's clear that I'll be saving a couple of hundreds dollar, I still wanted to know the opinions of previous priceline customers. Overall were you satisfied with the priceline experience?

As for simply purchasing travel, it's not any better or worse than any other travel site.  As for the name your own price aspect of it, what you have to bear in mind is that you get what they give you without you having a choice in the matter.  I used name your own price once for a flight, and I wound up with a flight that arrived at my destination at 10:30pm.  I think it would be better for hotels, though, and especially for rental cars.
