Pricepoint?

Does anybody use pricepoint.com? Is it quality product for mtbs

This is funny....I think I"ve mentioned my Pricepoint opinion like three times in the last couple weeks.  lol.   :o)

They're a good business, and they usually have some killer deals on things.   They sell good products....some high end stuff and some lower end stuff, but I don't recall seeing any absolute cheapie junk from them.  They do have some screwy policies when it comes to backorders and returns, so my advice is to call in your order on the telephone, and make sure that you're ordering things that are a) in stock, b) exactly what you need and know what you are ordering, and c) not likely to need to be returned to them.   They aren't crooks or anything, they're just not as easy to deal with after the sale, if need be.  

They're one of the top 4 online retailers I use when I order online.  The others are Jenson, Blue Sky Cycling, and Cambria Bike (gotta watch them, too).    Some other really good ones that I've used, but not often, are Greenfish, Ride-This, Wheelworld, Universal Cycles, and Speedgoat.   Blue Sky Cycling and Greenfish have by far been the best to work with and talk to and I'd highly recommend them.   Cambria and Price Point are the only two I've had any issues with....they were all resolved, but it wasn't a pleasant business transaction.  

Hope this helps you out......and don't forget to always give your local bike shops a chance to order products and match prices for you before you go to an online shop.   Many times they can't, but sometimes they can and it's sure worth building a good relationship with a local shop.   :o)

I've used them, too. They're a reputable business and they have some nice sale prices.
