Prices for dying hair blonde?

I want to dye my hair blonde but want to get it done at the salon as I don't trust any hair dying kits in the shops! I have blonde highlighted hair already so I think it will be okay, but i was wondering if anyone knows how much it will cost 2 dye it? Also, how often will I need my hair re-done so no roots show? And how much will this cost each time?

  1. I am a natural dirty blonde but prefer champagne color. I have shoulder length hair and it cost me $65 to have foil highlights over most of my head. I recommend having foil highlights done because they look very natural. The longer your hair the more it is going to cost and the  trendy salons charge much more. As far as roots mine are light so i go every 3 months but if you have dark roots prob. every four to six weeks. Good luck. Find a stylist you like and stay with them so its consistent.

  2. where i go dying is 25 sumthin. but i never get it done. not allowed. but whre i go they charge full price for the roots.it rlly just all depends on where u go and how fancy it is...good luck

  3. Well at fantastic sams, they told me too bleach my hair the prices will start at $69 It depends on thickness and length of hair. If your hair does have brown in it, they imformed me that it might be better if i get highlights insead which starts off at $70 for foil highlights (Which i love the way they look). That was pretty much the cheapest i found around my city. You might be able to find cheaper, i suggest calling around the salons in your city and tell them what you want to do, and about how much will that cost.

I actually bought the born blonde hair dye kit at heb, and i turned out really blonde, it does fade in about 1 week, but even right now i think it looks really good. (I went from light brown with blonde highlights)

  4. it depends what hairdressers you go to, all places have different prices depending on how much business they get and how 'modern' the place is

if you want your hair to look great maybe it will be worth paying that bit extra?

but at my hairdressers it costs about £20 to get your hair dyed, that's without any cuts or trims

just ask around and find the best place you think for you :)

  5. lots of salons do colouring by length and thickness of the hair.

are you really sure you want to do a full head blonde? how dark are you naturally? the hair colour will "appear" to grow out faster as the root will be more noticable.

i ususally try and take people out of doing this as in the long run it is cheaper to stick to highlights.

in my salon i would charge £35 for that. but the salon down the road charged a staggering £75. so you really need to ring round a few salons near you to get the best deal.
