  1. Yeah, do as carrie suggested and get a mini cab, if you are lucky enough you wont get raped or robbed, just answer the question carrie, and stop interfering, your answers are always negative and irrelevant.

    (A) £6.00/ £8.00

  2. It depends what time of day you're travelling in London as it doesn't only go by how much time the cab but how far you're going.  For instance a journey from Victoria to Marble Arch would normally take 10-15 minutes and cost around £10 - £15 depending on weight of traffic.  The fares also increase at night when they charge more.  If you want a quote for a journey (not black cabs) then you can go to Addison Lee website where they will give you a firm quote.

  3. £15,

For those that say it's not cheap, why should it be cheap, with all the cost of running a Taxi?

Taxi Drivers have to make a living you know, ( they also pay a lot out, to do the job )

Price of petrol, price of buying & up keep of the cab,

Price of the badge etc, and who would want to drive around in that traffic day after day, people just do not like paying for cabs, why?

  4. Nothing if you bump it lol

  5. between £10-£20 for a black cab. Varies which part of london and time of day

  6. I think its £2 per minute or it maybe £2 per half a mile.

  7. assuming you mean with central london and the taxi moves at average london speeds expect to pay betrween £7 and £12. London taxis work on a combination of mileage and time. Therefore if your journey was on a fats section of an A road or motorway you would pay considerable more. Minicabs are supposed to charge purely on mileage but will normally take time into account when asking for a fare. They shouldn't but they do! Minicabs are mostly cheaper for medium to long runs if they charge correctly. Very short journeys within central London are not much cheaper if at all by minicab.

  8. About £10-15, depending upon traffic conditions.

If you wish to know how to buy the whole taxi, this will be about £23,000. This would pay for itself quite quickly, if you passed the training course in 'The Knowledge' - the memorisation of every street in London.

The Duke of Edinburgh has one, which he sometimes drives around London, although it is not for hire and he is not required to have any knowledge. Passes every time!

  9. around 10 - 15 pounds

  10. depends were u go around £10-£15

  11. Not cheap but beware of illegal minicab drivers there are loads - stick to  a black and white cab, may be more expensive but you will be safe

  12. I have not been for a while but you are looking between  ÃƒÂ‚£10 to £15 depending on traffic but if you do not know London it is the best thing to do. Enjoy your stay.

  13. http://www.taxifarefinder.com has a London page.  It's worth a shot.

  14. Daytime bewteen 6,20 and 8,80

nighttime between 7,80 and 10,40 British pounds

  15. Print this paper, It shows estimates based on time of day. Taxis go up at 8:00pm and even more dramatically 1t 10:00 pm.

    ======================================...

Note that a London taxi will charge you 10.37 pounds for fifteen minutes after 10 pm even if you only go a thousand yards because of traffic. There is a timer that keeps the fare going if you are stuck in traffic. Late at night it runs at 1 pound every 105 seconds.
