Pricing a room addition on manufactured home?

I am looking to knock down a wall in my house (about 15 feet long) and add another room to the house about 15 feet further out. So an additional 225 square feet. I would want eight 2'x4' windows in this room as it would be a den or day room. It is obviously going to have to be on a wood foundation as it is a manufactured home. I want to hire someone to do this, and was wondering what the average cost would be. I realise I haven't given many details, but ballpark figures are fine. I figured 5-8K, but I might be way off. I live in eastern NC.Thanks

  1. Call 2-3 contractors and get bids. Adding onto a manufactured home is, basically, the same as stick-built.  And yes, you will need a foundation.

If this is in a community, you can't.

  2. you are way low about price about 10k low -- real cost will be about 23500!!!
