Prickly plants? What are they called?

Okay, so...I'm trying to figure out what they're called, but they're small little circular prickly plants that fall off and stick to your clothes and they're usually a yellowish, whiteish color, does anyone know what they're called?

The plant is called burdock, the seeds are grown in the prickely ball that you are talking about..when ripe and dry the little balls hook on to anything and everything that touches them They are very annoying and yet they do hold a medicinal quality in the herbal medicine field.

They look like tan colored peas with pickers all over them.

I believe you could be talking about dandelions, which fall off very easily when you shake them. They're kind of soft, but the ends of them are prickly, and they are a whitish color.
