is pride and prejudice a good book for my 10th grade honors english class book report?

Little Women by Louisa May Alcott is really, really good and it would work. If you have more time, then I suggest Gone with the Wind. It's one of my favorite books. Maybe you could just do Part One or something, so that you don't have to read a whole lot, but you get a great story going. Then you can finish the rest of the book once you finish your report.

Sorry, the above is correct. Jane Austen was a British author. You might try Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. It was published in 1868. There is also The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne published in 1850.

I would recommend anything by Mark Twain.
