Barrera in his prime was a recking machine who just smashed what ever was put in front of him. and did this to much better fighters than Pacquiao, in his prime Barrera would just smash Pacquiao around for 3-4 rounds, and ko him in the 5 round . if not quicker than that

Up until that fight pacquiao had suffered two knockout losses to nobody's. While Barrera beat amazing people like morales and naseem hamed. If not for all the wars a prime barrera would have taken apart pacquiao. He would have been too fast and hit too hard. He would have constantly charged forward and with pacquaio's chin, he would have backed him up a lot. Barrera by knockout in 10 or 11.

Barerra came into his prime late it seemed, he gets allot of credit for Hamed, but really he just exposed Hamed.  I thought he lost his fights with Morales.

But i do believe it would be closer. But its not like Bareera was past his prime. He is still fighting now, and had a string of good wins over good opposition Juarez,Ayala,Morales.

In Manny's early losses, in fact in his first ko loss i think it was, the rebel militia in the Philippines at the time had threatened to kill Manny's family if he did not take a dive, I'm not sure which fight it was but it was one of the two.

Also Manny got better as he get a better trainer and got serious, Manny is a known gambler,drinker and partier or at least he was before he got serious. He is still an admitted gambler, and i guess he is not that good at it.

Is this a joke? Barrera has not faced knockout punchers like Pacquiao. That's why in their first fight, he was shocked tremendously, Pacquiao is not even in his prime right now, he's still 29 yrs old.
