  1. The golden boy vs the black mamba. De La Hoya all the way on this one. Roger was a good boxer but had a glass chin. Thats his only liability. Oscar has the power to put him to sleep within 12. See Rogers chin give way in Lockridge and Chavez 1 fights.

  2. Hmmm... I would say that a prime Roger loses to a prime Oscar.

Oscar won more belts in more weight classes against stiffer competition.

  3. Prime de la hoya had the fastest jab i've seen... he would hit and pull it right back to protect himself... i say he wins, just by jabbing at roger mayweather... he doesnt even need to throw combinations...

  4. De La Hoya for sure, though I don't think its fair to bring up Julio Cesar Chavez in this conversation because the JCC that Mayweather fought and the JCC that De La Hoya fought were different fighters.  Chavez was in his prime against Mayweather and he was getting old against De La Hoya.

  5. golden boy easy

del la hoya prime would beat floyd mayweather prime

  6. Oscar by KO.  Roger was a good offensive fighter but he had a suspect chin.  No shame in his 2 losses to Chavez since Chavez is an all-time great.  But he also has one-punch KO losses to 15-15 Freddie Pendleton and Rafael Pineda.

Roger would box well and land his share of punches but sometime around the 8th round, De la Hoya brings the big hook and takes him out!

  7. oscar would win he beat chavez twice, chavez beat mayweather twice

  8. prime oscar would beat roger and floyd mayweather . he only got a split decision agsint floyd

  9. r mayweather's fight with freddie pendelton is currently running through my head.

oscar would do the same to roger.
