  1. I agree with the first answer, Jones would win by way of Knockout. Mayweather is a great fighter, but he does not have a lot of power and is way too cocky. Jones had fun with his opponents, picking them off, picking his punches, and messed with his opponents minds. Both fighters take their time, are greatly skilled, and have good defenses...but all in all, Jones has both phychological and physical skills to KO Mayweather.

  2. First the catch weight would have to be at (154) junior middleweight because Jones lightest weight was 155 and Mayweather'ss heaviest weight has been 150.  With that said Jones Jr would beat Mayweather by way of KO.

  3. Mayweather's heaviest is around 150, Jones' was never that light.  Just say in the early 90's before Roy won the Light Heavyweight, he would have dropped 20 lbs to get to around 160 and Mayweather would have to gain 10, that would be the only way, but Roy would still have all his power that he had when he was knocked everyone out that he fought.  That wouldn't change if he would have fought Mayweather.  Yes, Mayweather is quick, but remember Roy was the quickest we've ever seen, plus he had power!

Roy would KO Mayweather within 5 rounds.

  4. Prime Jones....and Prime Mayweather....no match.

As fast as Floyd is....and it may be a hair faster (hands only) than Jones, Floyd couldnt catch Roy. Roy J in his prime had hair trigger reflexes....everyone saw the film where he threw a punch at the same time as his opponent...to have his land and just turn his foot..so his opponents punch just sailed over his shoulder on his way to the ground.

Jones also would be the hardest hitting....fastest...and SMARTEST fighter Floyd would ever see.

No chance in h**l would Floyd last six rounds.

  5. mayweather

  6. The cacth weight fight would've been at Light middle weight154 pounds. This was the hightest weight Mayweather had ever foght in and the lowest weight Jones had ever foght in. With Mayweather Hand speed and his great defense i don't see Jones beating him. Mayweather will land move away come back trade some shots and when Jones try to counters Floyd will be out of his way. Jones won't be no easy picking he'll have him moments and land some bid shots but i don't see him hurting Mayweather. Jones is a bigger and harder hitter than Floyd but Floyd has to much defense to let Jones land something big. This fight would kind of look like the Mayweather vs Hatton fight. Just imagine a Hatton who is bigger and quicker. Still don't see Jones beating Mayweather. Mayweather by a close decision.
