Prime age for a basket ball player?

Question

Every sport has an age that is considered prime for that sport

(for example, for gymnastics , I believe is late teenage years.

While golf age is less age-critical and thus the learned experience that comes with age becomes more of a factor --thus tilting the prime age for later years).

With that in mind, what is considered the prime age for basket ball players?

23 is prime age, but anywhere in the 20's is really good
