Primerica! what is the deal with this company? please help?

some people say it's a fraud/rip off, and some say if you're commited and persuasive, it's a great job for you, etc. I, personally am having negative thoughts and feelings about this company. I for one am not persuasive at all, so i think it would be hard for me. I went for the interview last week, and so tomorrow they scheduled me for orientation but i dont want to go any further! what kind of excuse would i give for not wanting to work there?? if i say i'm not interested, they are going to ask me 458458 questions.

You have already answered the most important question - you don't want to do this.

So, don't.  

Just call them and tell them you are not interested, and when they start with their sales pitch, just say "I'm not interested." and hang up.

Done.

If they call, tell them to put you on their "Do Not Call list", and hang up.

If they call again, just hang up.  You don't owe them anything more than that, you don't have to be polite.  

Just hang up.

Just let them know that you are not interested in working with them. If they start asking you question, just tell them that you have your reasons and that you have decided not to work with them. Noone can make you do something you dont want. You dont have to give them an excuse, and if they start to persuade you, just reinstate that you are just not interested.

My mother almost got sucked into this company. They expected her to commit to training that almost summed up to her being in a well over full semester course with hours that chalked up to far more than a part time commitment btw that ("training") and seminars and meetings.

It is a commission based job that just so happens to be a typical pyramid scheme/scam. Stick to your gut...it's a total rip off. Don't fall for it.

Just tell them you are not interested, sales is not for you, and NO I don't want to be my own boss, entrepreneur etc. Thank you and have a nice day : )
