Primo Sally seals the Grade A3 480m race at Swindon
Primo Sally, a black b***h trained by C A Stringer, grabbed the first position by beating the most favourite runner, School Rules, in a Grade A3 racing event of 480m category, held on January 16, at Swindon race track.
The other five hounds of the race included Dance Izzy, Swift Lorraine, School Rules, Jims Silverbirch and Gogetemsally.
The results of the event were quite unbelievable for many bookmakers and the spectators as a non-favourite runner walked out of the race victorious.
The race commenced at 18:04. Primo Sally broke from trap 3, and the b***h was somewhat slow in the beginning, and at that point in the race, there was no chance of an upset.
In the middle of the track, the daughter of Deneview Royal suddenly perked up her momentum and took the lead, but Dance Izzy did not let her feel too comfortable in front, as the runner caught up with the leader eventually
After running parallel to the chaser for a few yards, Primo Sally managed to excel again and this time, with great aggression.
Finally, the debonair b***h completed the distance in 29.59 seconds. This conquest stunned all for a while.
Whelped in August 2009, the b***h achieved this spot for the 4th time since her debut, which came on September 8, 2011.
In her short career, the brilliant racer has made some iconic achievements which are sufficient to suppose that she will have a promising career in future.
Despite tough struggle, Dance Izzy failed to finish first, as she parked right after the winner in second, with a slight difference of ½ a length. The black and white b***h bridged the distance in 29.63 seconds.
Breaking from trap 1, the daughter of Blissful Lark demonstrated a clean run till the end. Whelped in March 2008, she is trained by K R Hutton.
Swift Lorraine was the third top finisher who took 29.64 seconds to cross the boundary line. The black b***h ran well throughout the race, but lost her pace near the finish line. She is trained by P R Foster.
The only favourite hound with the starting price of 5 to 2 was School Rules, who finished fourth, with a margin of 2 ¾ lengths.
The 1st prize worth £82 was presented to Primo Sally, while each of the other racers earned £22.
