Primroseandblue likely to shine at Fairyhouse today – Maiden Hurdle Preview
Fairyhouse horseracing course is set to host Bobbyjo Bistro At Fairyhouse Maiden Hurdle race of 2m distance at 2:05 today, February 15. Fifteen runners are going to participate in the €6,900 contest.
Bettor.Com presents here a betting preview of the event exclusively for the bookmakers and generally for all its prestigious readers. This will determine who is hot and who is not.
Following are the entries and their analysis:
Valleymount: The black mare has won just one race so far since making her debut in April 2010. Out of her 7 NHF and 1 Hurdle starts, she has a NHF triumph to her credit. Owned by T McParland, the six-year-old is trained by F Flood. She may
finish fourth is today’s marathon.
Primroseandblue: Trained by W P Mullins, the black gelding too has just one triumph to his credit. Starting his career in April 2009, he bagged his first and last success on December 15, 2011 while fighting against 8 rivals. The eight-year-old
ran well and finished second in House Hotel Hurdle during the last month.
It shows that he is carrying immense form which will help him thrive today. He has 90 percent chances to finish first.
Like Your Style: Since the beginning of his career in November 2009, the Edward P Harty-trained black gelding has been winless to date despite running for a dozen of times. He is not likely to thrive in this race as well.
Case And Point: Trained by B R Hamilton, the black gelding is going to run today after a long gap of at least two years. Since winning the Riverfest race, which was his first and last victory, on May 4, 2009, he has been off-tracked. Thus,
he is greatly unpredictable at this point. He may finish third of fifth.
Kennoway: The trainee of Ms Claire O’Connell has not won a single race out of his four starts so far since his debut in February 2011. He finished fifth and fourth in two different races during the last month. The six-year-old may claim
sixth position today.
Budwiser: The Paul W Flynn-trained black gelding too has been winless to date since starting his career in June 2009. The black gelding finished 10th in Sean Graham Hurdle on February 1. He also does not seem to be in a position
to make any impact in this race.
None of the other nine runners including Hang Up My Boots, Robbie McMahon, Rathfeigh, North Farm, The Two Mc’S, Broduil, Captain Ahab, Lads Night Out and Paddy The Stout has won any race so far.
Conclusion
After trotting through the career records of the runners, we conclude that the trio of Primroseandblue, Valleymount and Case And Point will have a tough battle for the top position. Out of the three, Primroseandblue has the highest chances to bag the title.
