Prince Caspian, movie or book???

Question

Which did you like better and why? What about The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe? Movie or Book? Whats your favorite book in the Chronicles of Narnia? Hmmm... Tough one because although I like the CGI and special FX in the movies, the books are usually much better and provide much more detail.

I actually liked Prince Caspian the movie the best. I feel they did a good job staying true to the book and by adding a little bit extra like more action and a little romance that made it even better.

The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe movie was good also. Not as good as Prince Caspian though. Again Walden and Disney did a great job in telling the story and staying true to the book.

I really don't like the books mainly because I'm an adult and it was really difficult to read a book written for children. Don't get me wrong the stories are great and C.S. Lewis was a brilliant author, but the books were to kiddie. The messages of the books came through though as I was reading.

That's a toughie for me because I've always subscribed to the  theory that books will always be better than the movie no matter how well it's been done. I absolutely adored The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe when I first read it at 12 years old (i think, I might have been younger but I don't remember) but when I went on to read Prince Caspien my interest was completely lost I never even finished the book, and after that I never continued on with the rest of the chronicles. I didn't really want to see the movie because I knew I didn't like the book and I thought the first movie was only ok (definitley book better :D) but I got dragged anyway and I absolutely loved the movie! I thought it was better than The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (movie). I'm thinking about possibly just rereading Prince Caspien again, maybe I was just to young to be interested (crazy as that sounds lol)

I liked the prince caspian movie better but the lion witch and wardrobe book better it was my favorite book out of the series. They were all really good though.

i absolutely loved the prince caspian movie so i would have to say i liked the movie better than the book. i didnt like the first movie as much as the second but i still enjoyed the movie more. my favorite book so far(i have read up to dawn treader) is probably the lion, witch and the wardrobe.
