Prince Ludovic favourite for Thetote.com Maiden Hurdle
Prince Ludovic has been rated as favourite for Thetote.com Maiden Hurdle at Clonmel in Ireland on Thursday, April 5, 2012. The triumphant horse will walk away with a cash prize of €5,175 in the end.
The going will be good in the race, which is scheduled to start at 4:25 GMT, and a total of 12 runners will be taking part in it. Their stamina will be tested over 2 miles and 4 furlongs.

It seems that Prince Ludovic will manage to win the race comfortably, as he has got the best record over hurdles compared to the rest of the participants today. This is why the bookies have shown faith in his abilities and the punters will also be placing
quite a few bets in his favour.
Although the five-year-old gelding has been unable to win any race over hurdles, he has secured a couple of third place finishes in his career until now. He has entered five of such events and will be chasing his maiden victory today.
Paul Nolan’s trainee has been in good form recently, as he managed to finish third overall. He will be partnered by D. N. Russell, who has won seven races over hurdles. He will need to improve his strike rate though in order to attract more bets in his favour.
On the other hand, Tales Of Milan will also be a strong contender for victory, as he has performed well in recent times. He has taken part in four hurdles, but has never managed to finish in the top three.
However, the five-year-old gelding has improved his performances to some extent, as he finished fourth in his most recent outing. This will encourage the punters to risk some money on him.
D. T. Hughes’ trained runner will be ridden by Bryan J. Cooper, who is new to the sport and will be looking forward to a strong showing today.
It will be tough for the rest of the runners to fight for victory, as the top two favourites are in good shape right now.
