why do people think his father was James Hewitt?

Only Conspiracy theorists think that, as time goes on he looks more and more like his father and Prince Philip, his grandfather. When he and Charles are together there is no doubt they are closely related.

James Hewitt repeatedly says that he and Diana didn't have a physical relationship until well after Harry was born.

Because there is a very slight resemblance but,a DNA test is completely unnecessary,as he looks too much like his uncle,the Earl Spencer for that.

This is really ridiculous. The only claim the conspiracy theories give in favour of Harry being Hewitt's son is the red hair colour. Red hair is quite common in Diana's family, her own brother is red-haired, so Harry has just taken after his mother's side.

Now, I don't know when Diana started her affair with Hewitt. I wouldn't put it past her if it were before 1984, but Harry is a spitting image of his father and grandfather + Spencer red hair.

He has the same nose, lips, chin, eyes as his father and grandfather, you can see some really strong Windsor and Mountbatten family traits in his face.

No. Prince Harry resembles more like his mother's side of the family, the Spencers. He looks very much alike his uncle, Charles Spencer and aunt, Lady Jane Fellowes, who both have very fair hair and eyes. In 2002, Hewitt strongly denied long-standing rumours that he was the natural father of Prince Harry. He claimed that Harry was a toddler by the time he met Diana (Harry was born in 1984).
