In the last rugby world cup final, why in the frst half was prince william seen on tv wearing an engish rugby jersey?????????isn`t he supposed to be patron of the wru???

And is i true that because the tv cameras caught him wearing an english rugby top that he was told to swap it for an irb top.

I witnessed this on tv and have asked friends about it but they did not spot this ! If his is all correct then why was he cheering on the english?

  1. Why would he wear a Wales shirt to an England-South Africa match???  The boy is English, of course he will cheer on England...

  2. He is the Patron of the WRU but he supports England, because he is English!

What  the feck the muppets in the WRU was thinking when they made him a patron, God only knows and him accepting it was even  a bigger fecking joke!

  3. Because he is English and the future King of England.

Is he patron a WRU? Yes his dad is Prince of Wales but who would want to support that bunch of Irish who never learnt to swim.

  4. And to make matters worse the WRU have named a Welsh trophy after the Tw@t ?!?!?!?!?

  5. He is English, thus the support of the team.

Who cares who he wants to support any ways. Everyone is allowed personal preferance. Besides it would have been bad form to wear the jersey of a team who was not in the game.

  6. The WRU think it would be in the best commercial interests of the sport here if they all got mbe's.

  7. Because he is English dumb@rse

  8. He's English...he should support England. We Welsh never wanted an English Prince of Wales anyhow (or  ginger Harry as a patron) . Let him support the three-wheeled chariot...they need all the support they can get right now.

  9. In fairness to William, Wales weren't at the final, so it's not as if there was a conflict of interests. It's only a problem if you think Welshmen shouldn't support England under any circumstances, which is a little bit pathetic.

As an aside, has William actually been to any of Wales' 6N games? I've never seen him on the tv. At least his mother (who was also a patron of the WRU) had the decency to turn up to matches.
