  1. Princess when her father becomes King.

    Royal.

  2. Well, since a duchess is really only a princess, anyway, and in most countries, the title comes from the father, she would be a princess.

  3. The daughter assumes the title of her father;it is through the male that the line continues. She'll be a princess.

There is a good explanation about titles at

  4. Usually titles follow the line of the father -- she'd be a princess.  Think of the Princess Royal (Anne) - her children do not have titles because her husband refused to accept a bestowed title from the Queen.  Thus, the kids are "just" commoners.

  5. She would become a princess x duchess of somewhere

  6. It depends. In the Uk the tradition used to be that any grandchild of a monarch in the Male line would receive the title of "princess" e.g. Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie of York. but Prince Edward's daughter is just a lady.

BTW the title "Duchess" is just the wife of a Duke there is no such thing as a Duchess in her own right.

  7. Me and Charlie boy have been trying for one for years, but if by any chance of fate (a woman in India has just given birth to twins at the age of 70!!!) we had a girl she would be known as HRH PRINCESS OF WHALES, judging from two of the Princesses larking about just now - just as fond of the pies as their mother the Duchess, yet they are Princesses.  We Royals are genetically mad as a dog chewing a wasp.  xx
