  1. Princess Diana had the fairytale WEDDING (sarcastically, meaning horrible marriage.. and not fairytale afterwards).. and died happy. She became known to the world's population as a barbie doll princess.. going out to victims of HIV for support and having a meaning to her life besides being a "mere princess" to look pretty all day and night.

  2. The late Diana, Princess of Wales' Legacy:

In 1987, she opened the United Kingdom's first specialty AIDS ward and helped dispel myths about the disease by shaking hands and hugging people with HIV. Diana continued to make waves with her charity work after her divorce -- helping HIV-infected people in Africa and calling for an international ban on landmines. Diana also visited hospitals, where she comforted the sick and in so doing, assumed the patronage of various charitable organizations—and from an interest in certain illnesses and health-related matters.

Diana decided to concentrate her efforts on six organizations: Centrepoint, working with the young and homeless, the Leprosy Mission, which treats leprosy sufferers in over thirty countries, the National AIDS Trust, working with HIV and AIDS patients, the children’s hospital in Great Ormond Street, the Royal Marsden Hospital, which specializes in the treatment of cancer and the English National Ballet, as dance was one of her great passions. The Princess took on causes which were viewed as 'difficult or 'unfashionable'.

Diana's interest in supporting and helping young people led to the establishment of the Diana Memorial Award, awarded to youths who have demonstrated the unselfish devotion and commitment to causes advocated by the Princess.

  3. You could write about her work with charities which has had long lasting effects in the world. Along with that, her sons could be considered part of her legacy. And both seem to hold the same attitudes she had about being among the people instead of aloof like many of the previous royals. She had effect on fashion and celebrity. Her death certainly had an effect on how we view the crazed celebrity frenzy that the paparazzi had become.

Hope that gives you some ideas. Good luck.

  4. Try visiting her official webiste http://www.theworkcontinues.org

Diana was champion to many charities that dealt with people in need--the sick, the poor, the abused, the war-torn injured. Her last big bid was for the removal of land mines that have caused injury and death to many innocent civilians.

Diana also produced the future king of the United Kingdom,William.Diana wanted her son to be a modern monarch, much like King Juan Carlos of Spain who although very regal,is said to be casual and very businesslike,a king who really has a say in the day-to-day workings of the government.

  5. Something new to write about. She was a stalker.

She made numerous phone calls to a shop keeper in the middle of the night. Breathing then hanging up. He had the police stake out the phone booth and she was caught. Nice girl!

Bill Clinton- Princess Diana - s*x crazed nutballs.

  6. I would suggest reading articles and books about her and deciding for yourself what you take away it.  That, perhaps is her legacy - being able to impact people who just read about her.
