Princess Grace or Princess Diana?Why?

Personally,I love them both for several different reasons.I could never choose between the two.Obviously,Diana gets a little bit more publicity than Grace,but I still admire thm both.

Princess Grace had a career as a film star. She came from a good family and had connections, but she had a talent and achieved success on her own, before becoming a princess. Then, once she married Ranier, she helped him turn Monaco into a hot destination, completely bettering the lives of all the people who lived there.

I think Princess Grace is more admirable because she did tangible things. She was a person in her own right before she became a princess, so she was a more rounded person. While she was beautiful, she was also intelligent. Intelligence is something young women should be encouraged to develop over a keen fashion sense.

I love them both as well.. I think that Princess Grace gave up more and had to endure a great deal more (being in a foreign land, with people in the palace and the general public that didn't like or trust her for years), and dealt with it with grace (no pun intended). Diana was more emotional, and lashed out at the palace and Charles. Not that he didn't deserve it. Also Grace was something of a early role model and support to Diana. And Diana was the only member of the royal family at Grace's funeral.

I grew seeing pictures of Diana everywhere. I can remember watching her wedding to Prince Charles on television and wondering what was going on? I was too young to understand that there were places where there were stilll kings and queens and even princesses.

My parents are huge fans of old movies, so I grew up watching a lot of Grace Kelly films. Her name was more common in my home than Diana's, so I'd have to go with Princess Grace as my favorite.

I also love them both.  Princess Grace gets a lot of publicit around my area because I live near Philadelphia and she was born here.  Also, she was a huge movie star in America and she gave it all up to be a Princess (I know--a Princess is worth more but you get my meaning) of a tiny little country that most people do not even know exists.  As for Diana, well I grew up with seeing her and fell in love with her.  However, I am from South Jersey and feel more connect with Princess Grace.
